Hi Everyone 👋🏽

Thank you for taking the time to vote on our next book and for leaving feedback on our events so far.

All feedback questions were voluntary, so a special thank you to those who took the extra time to answer them. We got 5-star reviews from all but one voter for the last event, so we’re thrilled to hear that we’re doing a great job overall.

We’re still in the early stages of shaping the resist[AI]ance Book Club and welcome your suggestions. Keep them coming!

The Poll Results

Our next book will be The Human Use of Human Beings: Cybernetics and Society by Norbert Wiener.

This cybernetics classic is famous enough to have its own Wikipedia page. The author is considered a fierce advocate of automation and a founding cybernetics thinker. This is interesting, given the title of the book.

Where to Find The Human Use of Human Beings

The great thing about choosing a book originally published in 1950 is that there are digital library copies of it online. Please do your due diligence before viewing or downloading, but a simple Google search for the book title will show you several free options. You will probably also find a copy at your local library.

Next Steps for Upcoming Ep.3

Our panel members will meet in the next few days or so to align our schedules. We’ll then share the date, time, and registration link for our next event to discuss The Human Use of Human Beings. The event will likely be in the last week of the month, but the exact date and time are pending.

We were thrilled to see that 75% of voters wanted to be auto-registered for all upcoming events. If that’s you, you’re already all set for the next event and will receive an email once we register you. 😎

If you missed this on the poll and would like to be added to our auto-register list, please reply to this email and I’ll update your preference for you.

Stay tuned!
